Trip to Mexico - Jan/Feb 2007

Geoff and I, along with a friends of ours (Helen & Lindsay), went to Mexico (Mayan Riviera) from Jan 27th to Feb 3rd. It was a wonderful trip. We had beautiful, warm/hot weather for the entire week. It was very relaxing and a much needed vacation by all. We stayed at the Grand Sirenis resort - brand new and only open since Dec 2006. It was a beautiful resort. We even found out that another set of friends (Steve, Terri & their son Kyle) were at the same resort at the same time that we were there (we found this out the week before we left).

One of our day trips - lounging (note the theme of the trip) at "hammock island" at Xel-ha (close to our resort) - snorkeling, swimming with the dolphins, lazy river, etc, etc. We chose snorkeling as our activity for that day.
