Vacation - Cottage - August 2006

These pictures are a bit out of order. They start with the end of our vacation to Great-Grandpa's cottage and gradually move toward the beginning.

















Thursday was a little cool and cloudy, so we drove to Bala to "Johnson's Cranberry Marsh/farm". They have kids activities on Tues & Thurs from 10-12pm. They had a "Bugs, Bugs,Bugs" theme the day we went. We ventured to the marsh to collect bugs, then took them back to examine them. Then the kids had a snack (cranberry bread & cranberry juice - what else) and did a scavenger hunt and a craft. Then they brought out some snakes for the kids to hold. Both kids held the snakes - they thought it was pretty neat (sorry no pics - I got that part on video).


















Out for a ride on the paddle boat - loaded down with many "large" rocks to make the boat even.
